About Lina

YOUR MINDFUL COACH

Hi, I’m Lina Mbirkou,

I was born and raised in Morocco, in a family where food was central to connection.

Since moving to Australia I have explored mindfulness for wellbeing and developed an appetite for sharing this knowledge with others.

I am an experienced facilitator, a corporate wellbeing consultant, an intuitive chef and a certified yoga and meditation teacher.

As a former Marketing and Communication executive, I understand the pressures of the corporate world.

My journey in work and life has helped me and continues to forge a calm, creative and purposeful approach to problems and stressful situations.

My passion for healthy, nutritious food and my experience in mindfulness and meditation led to my creating well thought out and easily actionnable set of Mindful Cooking activities which increase self-awareness, emotional intelligence, stress management, difficult decision making, resilience and full ability to develop fresh perspectives and deeper insights.

Mindful Cooking is the combination of my passions, a remarkable moment in your life, a warm and unique experience!

Mindful Cooking uses food as the object of meditation and focus to provide a still and quiet space.

Through cooking and eating, Mindful Cooking participants are encouraged to explore tools and practices that help them sustain focus and transformative change, create a more sustainable and connected world through bringing presence and awareness to the way we source produce, cook and eat and how we treat our bodies, each other and the planet.

Mindful Cooking has a commitment to sustainable practices that nourish the earth and our environment. Wherever possible, food is sourced locally, supporting our farmers and their communities.

Menus are prepared using produce that is in season and ethically sourced, making sure that our precious resources are not wasted.

Being mindful about the way we eat, where our food comes from and how we come together to share it can have a profound impact on ecological sustainability.
