Combining a hands-on cooking class with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Techniques, and Laughter Wellness exercises, this one day foodie escape is a unique form of meditation in action and the perfect antidote to daily busyness. It will make you deeply aware of your senses to be fully present in the here and now so you can experience both relaxation and alertness in any situation of your life

You will:

  • Learn how to use a Moroccan tagine, make traditional Moroccan mint tea and prepare a delicious wholesome and plantbased Moroccan feast that is all Dairy Free and Gluten Free to cater for most allergies!
  • Discover how to turn anytime you come in contact with food into a meditation practice
  • Eat with like-minded people while paying attention to all your senses and the present moment
  • Relax, recharge, reconnect and learn to cook wonderful yet simple dishes!
  • Learn how to use a Moroccan tagine, make traditional Moroccan mint tea and prepare a delicious Moroccan couscous!

When:  Saturday 07 September  from 10:30 am to 2.30pm.

Where: Hosted in a fabulous kitchen in Juanita Nielsen Centre in Woolloomooloo (close to Sydney CBD) with ample free parking.

What’s the food like?

It will all be vegan/vegetarian plant-based food, that is dairy free and gluten free. Ingredients are wholesome, fresh, seasonal and locally sourced.

Do I need special skills?

No, you don’t need to be a Masterchef. You can choose who you team up with and what you do according to your level of expertise in the kitchen.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The kitchen is conveniently located in Woolloomooloo. Closest Train stations: St James and Kings Cross.

There is ample free parking in the streets around if you are driving

What can I bring into the event?

Bring a pen and notepad, your phone or camera to take fun pictures of you with a chef hat, your smile and closed shoes.
